⚙️ How Fishing Works

Have a Bait Knife in your inventory (to create bait).
Equip a Fishing Rod (having it in inventory is not enough).
Have enough Bait in your inventory.
Meet the required Fishing level.
Have sufficient Fishing Power from gear.

💡 Increase your Fishing Power with a Fishing Power Gem, obtainable by mining Mithril Ore.

🎯 Fishing Tips & Strategy

Reach level 30 to catch Blue Gill, then use your Bait Knife on them to collect bait.
Bank Blue Gills for later Essence making; bank Rare Blue Gill for Fish Oil.
Level up Potion Making to craft fishing potions to catch more Blue Gills.
Alternative: Purchase Common Trout from the Fishing Stall for 8g and cut for bait.
Once you have enough bait and potions, switch to Elder Trout spots for faster XP.
Carp sells to the Fishing Stall for 210g — solid gold once you hit level 50. Rare Carp can't be traded to players, but still sells to the Stall for 2,240g.
